Important updates regarding COVID matters

Dear Suzanne,

We opened as planned last week-end and it was as good as expected to see people back in Val d'Isère, on skis and snowboards.

Even if we would love to have a "normal" season, we know the situation can be worrying, that things change fast, so here is a little update for our UK tour operators and agencies.

We are trying to be as accurate as possible but the situation changes constantly, and the info could be not valid in a few days, please make sure you stay updated on your side.

To enter France

The United Kingdom is still on the French Amber list. Fully vaccinated people over 18 can enter France without essential reason to travel.

From December 4, a negative test not older than 48 hours become mandatory for all travellers (from 12 years old) coming from outside the EU *

Travellers must complete a ‘sworn statement’ form where they swear they are not suffering from symptoms associated with coronavirus and have not been in contact with confirmed cases in the preceding fortnight. This document can be found on the French government’s website.

A proof of vaccination status must be presented if needed.

Children aged 11 years old or younger do not need to present a negative test result to travel.

Flying to Geneva

After a few confusing days where we did not have a written confirmation regarding the formalities to enter Switzerland in order to transit to France.

It has been confirmed that UK nationals can land in Geneva to transit to a French ski resort for their holidays.

It is mandatory to fill in the entry form correctly and on time and to present a negative test result for everyone over 16 years old (PCR test not older than 72 hours or rapid antigen test not older than 48 hours).
