La Rosiere ski resort is situated on a sunny south facing mountainside. Overlooking the Tarentaise valley in the Savoy region of south eastern France, La Rosiere is the valley's snowiest ski resort. With views across the valley to Les Arcs and La Plagne which gives a hint as to what is on offer in this incredible part of the French Alps.


A visit to La Rosiere ski resort is particularly worthwhile for beginners, intermediates & families. The terrain is predominantly easy intermediate standard & below. Some sheltered beginner & children's areas are near the base area.

 

La Rosiere is statistically the snowiest ski resort in the magnificent Tarentaise valley. La Rosiere's high elevation (1170m - 2800m) base generally ensures good snow cover on its sunny south-facing slopes.


La Rosiere ski resort is in the upper Tarentaise valley 55km east of Albertville and sits on the Italian border. below the Petit Saint Bernard Pass.



Getting there

La Rosiere's closest airports are Geneva (GVA) in Switzerland and Lyon Saint Exupery (LYS) and Chambery. Geneva and Lyon are around 210km or 2.5hours drive away and Chambery is 123km and 1 hour 40


Geneva & Lyon airports are connected by train to La Rosiere's closest main town of Bourg Saint Maurice via Chambery. Buses & private transfers provide links between the Bourg St Maurice train station & La Rosiere, 20km away.
