Val Cenis is the largest ski resort in Haute Maurienne. It is nestled in the heart of the Vanoise National Park and is and also a great base from which to explore other Haute Maurienne resorts like Valfrejus, Aussois, La Norma and Bonneval sur Arc.
It's vast, natural, modern and varied domain where simplicity is combined with authenticity, there is no doubt that all your mountain expectations will be met and exceeded.
Val Cenis is a warm welcoming great value family ski resort with the village at 1400m rising to 2800m at the peak of the mountain.
Val Cenis has an excellent snow record and has the advantage of north facing slopes and has Europe's largest green run 'Escargot' which runs for 10km. There are also great range of on piste trails for beginners and intermediates. Off piste terrain includes some good fun mellow bowls, glades steep trees and gullies.
The resort is divided into two clear areas, the Lanslebourg, Mont Cenis sector and the Termignon sector. Vertically the mountain splits into three distinct zones, the valley (perfect for beginners); mid mountain (a full range of trails and steep off piste gullies and trees); and alpine (broad, mellow rolling pitches).
There are 125 km of marked trails including 8 km of free cross-country skiing, 62 slopes including 16 green, 19 blue, 22 red, 5 black.
In addition to fantastic skiing there are a wide range of activities to enjoy which include ice skating, swimming pool, trampolining, mini moto, spa and much more !
